King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust offers a unique opportunity to join our esteemed team as a Clinical Pharmacy Leader for Post-Acute Medicine. This exciting role provides a challenging and dynamic environment for an experienced pharmacist to lead and deliver high-quality clinical services to post-acute medical wards.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across various specialties, including respiratory, cystic fibrosis, stroke, gastroenterology, diabetes, and elderly care. Our pharmacists provide extensive pharmaceutical care and medicines management services to ensure seamless integrated care models.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the provision of clinical pharmacy services to multiple sub-specialties within the Care Group.
  • Develop, implement, and audit local guidelines to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Pharmacist, Post-Acute Medicine to extend professional practice boundaries.
  • Ensure seamless pharmaceutical care on discharge by liaising with healthcare professionals.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and access to training and development opportunities.
