Tameside Community Safety Partnership invites applications for a Strategic Asset Development Specialist to join its Estates Team. In this permanent role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of a diverse property estate with 2,979 interests. With a strong background in property and strategic asset management, you will support the implementation of a Strategic Asset Management Plan and contribute to the delivery of Council projects and programmes.

About the Role
This Estate Surveyor position offers a competitive SCP 35-39 salary scale (£43,421-£47,420) and a hybrid working environment. As a key member of the Estates Team, you will require a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the Council. With a focus on developing your skills and expertise, this position has a professional grade development bar allowing employees to progress subject to meeting criteria.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage a diverse property estate with 2,979 interests.
• Support the implementation of a Strategic Asset Management Plan and delivery of Council projects and programmes.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the real estate portfolio income.

An advanced understanding of property issues, successful property negotiations, and stakeholder engagement are essential requirements for this role.
