The University of Edinburgh is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join the Data Management & Programming Team within the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit (ECTU).

This exciting opportunity allows you to take responsibility for designing, maintaining and managing project-specific database systems that support a wide range of clinical research projects, including clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit business requirements from project stakeholders
  • Develop and implement data solutions to support clinical trials portfolio

We are looking for a motivated developer who wants to have real input into the future best practices adopted by the Clinical Trials Unit. NET development group.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent IT knowledge gained through education, training and experience, together with four or more years of IT software development projects that were successfully delivered
  • Knowledge of medical terminology would be desirable
