Community Shop Support Staff

We are excited to relaunch our wonderful Whitby Shop, and we are looking for volunteers to join our dynamic team

Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and price stock, ensuring that items are accurately valued and presented in an attractive manner.
- Engage with customers, providing them with exceptional service and creating a positive shopping experience.
- Ring items through the till, handling cash and card transactions efficiently and securely.
- Create visually appealing window displays, showcasing our products in a way that attracts new customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop floor, ensuring that the store appears welcoming and well-maintained.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and circumstances.
- A passion for working in a fast-paced retail environment, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities.
