Job Title: Loan Kit Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Kit Coordinator to join our Materials team at The Portland Hospital in London. As a Loan Kit Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all loan kits required for procedures within the hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept delivery of loan equipment and record delivery information on arrival and departure
- Unpack and thoroughly check instrument sets and prosthesis against vendor delivery note
- Liaise with the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) /Company representative immediately if missing instruments or prosthesis are noted
- Process requisition forms for missing items after procedures
- Raise purchase orders via Smart Procurement and ensure vendors are informed with relevant details for kit hire
- Check theatre bookings daily and liaise with theatres to obtain information to ensure all loan kits required for surgery have been requested in time
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Materials management is essential, with a strong preference for a medical surgical products/equipment or Theatre background
- Good communication skills
- IT literate
