Senior Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Collaborate with consultants, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Support the training and development of junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Current registration with the relevant professional body (e.g. HCPC, NMC).
- Minimum 24 months of experience in a surgical theatre environment, with a strong background in scrub theatre practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Experience in spinal and orthopaedics would be an advantage, but not essential.
