We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team at The Portland Hospital in London. As a key member of our theatre department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and experienced theatre practitioner to join our team. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre, as well as providing support to our surgical team during procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating theatre, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures.
- Provide support to our surgical team during procedures, including scrubbing, draping, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Collaborate with our theatre team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of theatre protocols and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current HCPC/NMC registration.
- At least 24 months of surgical experience, preferably in scrub theatre.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others.
