Job Title: Loan Kit Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Kit Coordinator to join our Materials team at The Portland Hospital in London. As a Loan Kit Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the end-to-end management of loan kits required for procedures within the hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accept delivery of loan equipment and record delivery information on arrival and departure.
  • Unpack and thoroughly check instrument sets and prosthesis against vendor delivery notes.
  • Liaise with the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or company representative if missing instruments or prosthesis are noted.
  • Process missing items on requisition forms and share information with the OR Analyst for charging purposes.
  • Raise purchase orders via Smart Procurement and ensure vendors are informed with relevant details for kit hire.
  • Check theatre bookings daily and liaise with theatres to obtain information on loan kits required for upcoming procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Materials management is essential, with a strong preference for a medical surgical products/equipment or Theatre background.
  • Good communication skills.
  • IT literacy.
