Job Title: Loan Kit Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Kit Coordinator to join our Materials team at The Portland Hospital in London. As a Loan Kit Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all loan kits required for procedures within the hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accept delivery of loan equipment and record delivery information on arrival and departure
  • Unpack and thoroughly check instrument sets and prosthesis against vendor delivery note
  • Liaise with the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) /Company representative immediately if missing instruments or prosthesis are noted
  • Process missing items on requisition form and share information with OR Analyst for charging purposes
  • Raise PO via Smart Procurement and ensure vendor is informed with relevant details for kit hire
  • Check theatre bookings daily and liaise with theatres to obtain information to ensure all loan kits required for surgery have been requested in time

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Materials management is essential with strong preference for a medical surgical products/equipment or Theatre background
  • Good communication skills
  • IT literate
