Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team at CLD Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients and debts in all sectors, from pre-legal to litigation and enforcement proceedings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to negotiate fair and affordable repayment solutions.
  • Manage a designated workload and clients, taking full ownership of their debt recovery process.
  • Meet and exceed billing targets by bringing in fees and promoting the firm's brand.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of system and procedural changes.
  • Provide exceptional client service and support, demonstrating empathy and understanding of client needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous debt recovery experience or legal experience with full knowledge of the debt recovery process.
  • Strong drafting skills for letters and pleadings, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to different client and debtor requests.
  • Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks, including client management, debt recovery, and administrative duties.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with clients and debtors.
