Role Overview

The City of Edinburgh Council's Homelessness Prevention and Housing Options Team (HP&HOT) is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Private Rented Sector Housing Officer.

This role involves working with individuals who are at risk of homelessness, providing tailored housing options advice, information, and support referrals to prevent homelessness.

">

As a key member of the HP&HOT team, you will be responsible for fulfilling the Council's duties by working to legislative and good practice requirements and in collaboration with other statutory services and partner organisations.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including Landlords and relevant Agencies.

We offer a competitive salary of £32,010 - £37,626 per year, plus opportunities for career development and progression within the Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
