About the Role:
Job Overview:i-Jobs is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Finance Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of finance professionals to deliver financial support across the Children and Families Directorate.
- Provide expert financial advice to service directors and elected members, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Manage and lead a team to deliver high-quality financial support, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improvement.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of finance professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and elected members.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and procedures related to children's services.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop recommendations for improvement.
Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum
