About the Job

ARM is currently seeking a highly qualified Senior Finance Professional to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering professional financial advice and support to elected Members in committee meetings, as relating to the assigned role in respect of services or functions supported.

You will also be expected to lead on the finance business partner services and associated relationship management in respect of Shared Services, ensuring that financial decisions made by committees are recorded, monitored, managed and subsequently reported on as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead on the finance business partner services and associated relationship management in respect of Shared Services.
  2. Deliver professional financial advice and support to elected Members in committee meetings, as relating to the assigned role in respect of services or functions supported.
  3. Provide financial advice to the Head of Finance, the Director of Finance & Customer Services, the Corporate Leadership Team and Members.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial planning, management and reporting, as well as a strong understanding of local authority financial management practices.

This position comes with a competitive salary of £33,180 per annum, reflecting the high level of responsibility and expertise required for the role.
