Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Strategic Finance Leader to join our team at i-Jobs. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing strategic financial management services for our Council.

Your primary responsibilities will include leading and controlling finance business partner services for the Council's Companies, collaborating with service directors, managers, and/or Council-owned company directors to enhance and achieve policy and strategic objectives, influencing strategy and business outcomes through expert analysis and interpretation, and presenting options to resolve problems and exploit opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your financial leadership skills and contribute to the development and sustainability of the Medium Term Financial Strategy. You will have the chance to work with experienced professionals in the field and develop your expertise in financial management services.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the Council's objectives
  • Collaborate with senior management to achieve policy and strategic objectives
  • Analyze financial data and present recommendations to senior management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including service directors, managers, and/or Council-owned company directors

Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial management services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
