About the Role

We are seeking experienced Support Workers to join our teams in Perth & Blairgowrie as Relief Colleagues.

As a relief worker, you will play a vital part in our team, ensuring we provide exceptional care and support during staff training, holidays, and absence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities and/or additional support needs, helping them achieve their goals.
  • Develop personalized plans that reflect individuals' choices, support needs, and capabilities.
  • Ensure individuals manage their own homes, increase independence, and address social, health, and wellbeing needs.
  • Encourage participation in leisure activities, engage in meaningful pursuits, and access hobbies and interests.
Requirements
  • A positive attitude with a solution-focused approach.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use new systems and technology.
  • Strong administrative and numeracy skills for accurate record-keeping.
  • Understanding of routine importance and adherence to guidelines.
  • Basic cooking skills.
Shift Patterns

We offer 24/7 support, requiring shift patterns involving early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, public holidays, and sleepovers.

To be successful, you must commit to the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with our Training Academy's support.
