Business Development Director

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our team at Heads, a leading Contract Research Organisation (CRO) based in the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to drive business growth and develop strategic partnerships within the pharma and biotech industry.

The successful candidate will be offered a highly competitive salary range of £90,000 - £140,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Developing and executing business strategies to drive revenue growth and expansion.
  2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through proactive account management and regular communication.
  3. Contributing to the development of business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  4. Coordinating requests for proposals (RFPs) and preparing high-quality responses.
  5. Creating regional business maintenance and development plans to drive growth and profitability.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Business or Life Sciences.
  2. At least 5 years' experience in account management within the pharma and biotech market.
  3. Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  4. A flexible approach to changing environments and willingness to travel.
