Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our Special Educational Needs (SEN) department. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support for children with SEND needs and an EHCP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to children with SEND needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of lessons and activities
  • Support children with their daily living skills and personal care
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with SEND needs
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • NVQ or similar qualification desirable
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a caring approach
