Learning Support Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our Special Educational Needs (SEN) department. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support for children with SEND needs and an EHCP.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized support to children with SEND needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
- Assist with the preparation and implementation of lessons and activities
- Support children with their daily living skills and personal care
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members
Requirements
- Experience working with children with SEND needs
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- NVQ or similar qualification desirable
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a caring approach
