Job Summary


We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at Gorse Hall Primary School.



  • This is an excellent opportunity to join our popular and friendly school at an exciting time.
  • As a Support Assistant, you will provide support to children with SEN needs and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • You will be required to work as part of a team, providing a nurturing and safe environment for children.

Responsibilities



  • Provide one-to-one support to children with SEN needs and an EHCP.
  • Work as part of a team to provide a nurturing and safe environment for children.
  • Support children with their learning and development.
  • Provide emotional support to children as needed.

Requirements



  • Experience of working with children with SEN needs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
  • NVQ or similar qualification desirable.
