Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our school. The successful candidate will work closely with our teaching staff to ensure that children receive the best possible education and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support for children with SEND
  • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of lessons
  • Support children with their daily needs, including personal care and hygiene
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure that children receive the best possible support

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with SEND
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and a caring approach
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently
