Rate of pay: £16 - £18 per hour

Eden Brown Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GCSE Maths and English Support Worker on a temporary, part-time basis on a Monday and Tuesday. This role is designed to support adult learners (aged 19+) who are working towards achieving their GCSE qualifications in Maths and English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support in GCSE Maths and English to adult learners.
  • Assist with lesson preparation, revision, and exam techniques.
  • Help students improve their understanding of key concepts and develop independent study skills.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff to monitor progress and adapt support strategies as needed.
  • Encourage and motivate students to overcome barriers to learning.

A strong understanding of GCSE Maths and English is required, with a Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent. Previous experience in a support role, tutoring, or teaching environment is preferred but not essential. Excellent communication skills and patience are also essential.
