We are recruiting support workers to join our team at Creative Support Ltd, a passionate and inclusive organization providing supported living services in the Ashton-under-Lyne and Stalybridge areas.
As a support worker, you will work collaboratively with service users, their families, and wider support networks to maximize their health and wellbeing and promote independence and community connections.
Our supported living services empower individuals to lead fulfilling and valued lives, maintain their tenancies, participate in local communities, develop independent living skills, and achieve desired outcomes.
You will provide direct care and support, as well as act as a key worker, helping individuals achieve their dreams and goals. We value relevant experience supporting people with learning disabilities or autism, but prioritize a 'can-do approach', person-centered values, energy, and commitment.
Good verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic, and duty of care are essential for this role. The ability to lone work using initiative is crucial. Being a car driver and owner (or access to a vehicle) is necessary, with mileage allowance provided.
The position offers full-time contracts of 37.5 hours per week or part-time contracts of at least 15 hours per week, worked on a flexible rota. Full training is provided, as well as opportunities to work towards the QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Benefits include a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days annual leave, and company-paid enhanced DBS. As a Disability Confident Employer and Stonewall Diversity Champion, we strive for an inclusive and anti-racist environment.
