GCSE Maths and English Support Role

Eden Brown Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate GCSE Maths and English Support Worker to provide temporary, part-time support to adult learners in Greater Manchester.

This role involves providing one-on-one and small group support in GCSE Maths and English to adult learners, helping them improve their understanding of key concepts and develop independent study skills.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent) and previous experience in a support role, tutoring, or teaching environment.

A DBS is required for this role, and Eden Brown can apply for one on behalf of the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide tailored academic assistance to adult learners in GCSE Maths and English.
  2. Help students improve their understanding of key concepts and develop independent study skills.
  3. Work closely with teachers and other staff to monitor progress and adapt support strategies as needed.
Requirements:
  1. A strong understanding of GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent).
  2. Previous experience in a support role, tutoring, or teaching environment is preferred but not essential.
  3. Ability to communicate clearly with adult learners of different backgrounds.
