This is an excellent opportunity to join the Ministry of Justice Courts and Tribunal Service as an Administration Officer in Swansea. As an Administration Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Judiciary, Magistracy, and other court staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the courts and tribunal service.

You will be responsible for preparing documents, creating and updating records, and booking meeting rooms. You will also handle counter inquiries, answer telephone calls, and communicate with Judiciary, Magistracy, and other court staff.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong administration experience, good customer skills, and experience working in a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2016 is essential, with experience in other systems being desirable.

Job Description:

  1. Preparing papers and files, including documents for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings
  2. Creating and updating records on the in-house system, including collecting information
  3. Booking, preparing, and organizing meeting rooms and court hearings
  4. Processing casework such as court orders, claims, and fines
  5. Clerking Civil and Family Courts
  6. Handling counter (face-to-face) and answering telephone calls
  7. Communicating with Judiciary, Magistracy, and other court staff

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
