Learning Support Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Rikama Education.
About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality support to children in a primary school setting. Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters the development of children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide individualized support
- Assist teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery
- Support children with special educational needs, following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and report on children's progress to teachers and other relevant staff
Requirements:
- GCSE or equivalent (required)
- 1 year of experience in a teaching or support role (preferred)
