About the Role

The Gordon Children's Academy is seeking a dedicated and supportive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with the Class Teacher to promote positive behaviour patterns, raise self-esteem, and improve independent working in pupils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the teacher with observation and monitoring of pupil progress, maintaining accurate records of interventions and detailing progress and achievement.
  • Prepare differentiated work and materials for pupils' use, display work and resources, and support the teacher in maintaining a well-organised and stimulating learning environment.
  • Work with pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans or additional educational needs throughout the Key Stages, providing tailored support to meet their individual needs.
  • Administer First Aid, subject to appropriate training, and contribute to the overall well-being and safety of pupils.
