Teaching Assistant Opportunity in Rochester

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team of educational professionals in the Rochester area. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the personal and academic development of students in a supportive and engaging setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and provide essential support to students across different subjects.
  • Work with small groups or individual students, offering personalized attention to help meet their learning needs.
  • Help manage classroom behavior, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) to ensure inclusivity and engagement in the classroom.
  • Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and help identify areas for improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational growth.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in supporting different subjects and age groups.
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred but not essential.
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
