Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Secretary to join our team at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional support secretarial services to the Mental Health Care Division.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be confident in their ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide a comprehensive professional support secretarial service to an excellent standard ensuring a high level of accuracy
  • To organise your own workload and co-ordinate workload activities with other Medical Secretaries in the team
  • To demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly telephone manner
  • To work to tight deadlines and withstand the pressure of a busy department

Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 per annum (based on national averages)

Estimated salary: £26,000 per annum based on the title and location
