We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Event First Aider at the Everton Football Club. This role involves providing first aid to the public during stadium events while practicing and advancing your first aid skills.

Job Summary:

  • Treating patients within the agreed scope of practice and making referrals for advanced medical support when necessary.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and emergency services as required.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor and representing Spark Medical positively.
  • Ensuring high standards of appearance, fitness, and adherence to dress policy.
  • Familiarizing yourself with and adhering to relevant Spark Medical policies.
  • Verifying that equipment is fit for purpose, clean, stocked, and stored according to policy.
  • Promoting patient and client confidentiality.
  • Delivering high-quality paperwork, including patient report forms.
  • Participating in training events as deemed necessary by Spark Medical to maintain competency and personal development.
  • Providing guidance to new team members as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be 18+ years old at the time of application.
  • Able to work weekends.
  • Physically fit to undertake the physical demands of the role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to complete paperwork to a high standard.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in crowds and noisy environments.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively and use initiative when necessary.
  • Previous experience in providing event medical cover.
  • Hold a valid FREC 3 qualification.

Salary Estimate: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum.

About this Role

This position will involve working on a freelance basis covering events only. You will need to arrange your own travel to the Everton Football Club. Please note that successful applicants must undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
