Hospital Medication Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated Medication Safety Specialist to join our hospital team in Liverpool.
This is a full-time, 6-month contract position with an immediate start available. As a Medication Safety Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe use of medicines across the hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Medicines Management team to ensure safe distribution and administration of medication across hospital departments.
- Review medication records and provide expert advice on medication use, including drug interactions and side effects.
- Develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with legal and hospital policies regarding medication storage, handling, and administration.
- Train and develop junior pharmacy staff on medication safety and best practices.
- Contribute to audit and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy service.
Salary:
Estimated £17-£21 per hour, based on experience.
