Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and multilingual Medical Information Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Information Specialist, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely medical information to healthcare professionals and patients via phone and email.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical information to healthcare professionals and patients via phone and email
  • Respond to technical questions and concerns in a professional and accurate manner
  • Recognize and report adverse events and defective product reports in compliance with company SOPs and WPs
  • Translate English documents into the target language or vice versa, and deliver translated responses via phone or in writing
  • Use existing standard responses to prepare medical information correspondence or request the generation of medical information correspondence from the Medical Information Support Services (MISS) department
  • Log all enquiries in an accurate and comprehensive manner
  • Manage confidential information in line with Data Privacy regulations
  • Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with legal requirements and professional guidelines associated with the provision of medical information on behalf of the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Perform quality checks on Adverse Events, Product Quality Complaints, and correspondence to ensure accuracy in all areas of the job

Requirements

  • Completed Pharmacy or life science degree
  • Mother tongue/C1 level in target language and fluency in English
  • Strong translation skills
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritize
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work unsupervised
