Manufacturing Process Lead

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Lead to join our team at Rolls-Royce Submarines in Derby. As a key member of our Nuclear business, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of quality improvements and driving technical excellence across our manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering and experience in leading teams to deliver significant technical projects. You will also possess a passion for engineering and a desire to effect product and process quality.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description:
The main responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the implementation of quality improvements across our manufacturing processes
- Driving technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Coaching and supporting the wider PCO ME Team
- Acting as a subject matter expert for Built-in Quality
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering)
- Significant experience in manufacturing engineering
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- A passion for engineering and a desire to effect product and process quality
