Manufacturing Engineer - Process Development

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer - Process Development to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. In this role, you will work with suppliers to develop their precision forging capability and ensure that manufacturing processes meet the required standards for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate, and lead time.

Your main objectives will be to establish the optimum process and method in line with commodity standards, advising on equipment selection, overseeing forging development trials, and supporting the supplier through the development, validation, and rate proving process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with suppliers to develop their precision forging capability
  • Establish the optimum process and method in line with commodity standards
  • Advise on equipment selection and oversee forging development trials
  • Support suppliers through the development, validation, and rate proving process

Requirements:

  • Professionally qualified engineer (e.g., UK minimum HND/foundation degree or other national equivalent)
  • In-depth understanding of compressor aerofoil precision forging
  • Demonstrated experience in precision forging product introduction processes

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
