About the Opportunity

AMS CWS is seeking an experienced Global Manufacturing Process Lead to join our team. As part of our global total workforce solutions firm, we enable organisations to thrive in an ever-changing environment by building, reshaping, and optimising workforces.

In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and methods to meet organisational needs, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with relevant standards. You will work closely with Procurement Category teams and Central Manufacturing Engineering functions to drive business-critical activities and deliver Manufacturing Engineering objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement: Manufacturing processes and methods to meet organisational needs, ensuring continuous improvement and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Analyse and Improve: Current and future manufacturing process capability, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate and Engage: With internal and external stakeholders to ensure product intent fulfilment and realisation, driving collaborative problem-solving and innovation.
  • Investigate and Resolve: Product and supplier technical problems, applying relevant tools and expertise to achieve timely and effective resolutions.
  • Promote Innovation: Opportunities for new or improved manufacturing processes and technologies, aligning with organisational goals and objectives.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess a degree in a relevant field, such as manufacturing engineering or a related discipline. A proven track record in manufacturing operations, supply chain management, or a similar field is essential. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, a strong positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively are also required. Technical experience in complex manufacturing, preferably within aerospace or related fields, covering a range of process disciplines, is highly desirable.

Estimated Salary Range: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
