Manufacturing Engineering Role in External Supply Chain

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in the External Supply Chain at Rolls-Royce Submarines. As a leader in propulsion system design and development for the Royal Navy's nuclear submarine fleet, we offer an exciting opportunity to work on technically complex projects.

This role will involve working with external suppliers to deliver high-quality products that meet business and customer requirements. You will be responsible for assessing supplier capabilities, governing manufacturing engineering activities, and ensuring the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in an engineering or related technical discipline and previous experience in manufacturing engineering and/or process engineering. A strong understanding of DFMEA/PFMEA principles is essential, as well as excellent negotiation and coaching skills.
