We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our Production Support Team at Rolls Royce Submarines.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our manufacturing processes, working closely with our production teams to drive continuous improvement and process control.
You will have a fundamental knowledge of DFMEA / PFMEA and will work within a manufacturing cell, applying manufacturing process controls and ensuring that our products conform to their specification.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working within a manufacturing cell, ensuring application of manufacturing process controls.
- Fundamental knowledge of DFMEA / PFMEA to influence Product definition / final form manufacture.
- Ensuring that manufacturing processes are followed so that our products conform to their specification.
- Rigorously raising, investigating and resolving quality and product safety-related issues.
Requirements
- Experience in fabrications, valves, complex assemblies, and machining of critical classified components.
- A degree, or equivalent, in an engineering or related technical discipline with previous experience in manufacturing engineering and/or process engineering.
- UK nationality and the ability to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance.
