AMS CWS is a global total workforce solutions firm, empowering organisations to thrive in an age of constant change. We are looking for Supplier Manufacturing Engineers for a 12-month contract based in the UK, working with our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies.

We require suitably qualified or experienced Manufacturing Engineers with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, technical experience of complex manufacturing, and knowledge of industry standards. As a Supplier Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes, collaborating with internal and external networks, and supporting the investigation and resolution of product and supplier technical problems.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of industrial processes and tools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Technical: Develop and implement manufacturing processes and methods of manufacture to ensure capability to meet requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate, and lead-time.
  • Product Definition: Capture, analyse, and use data to demonstrate and improve current and future capability of manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Proactively access internal and external networks of technical communities and functional teams to ensure fulfilment and realisation of product intent.
  • Problem Solving: Support investigation and resolution of product and supplier technical problems with the application and use of appropriate tools.
