Maintenance Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Handy Person to join our team at Langford View Care Home. As a Handy Person, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of our property estate, ensuring that our homes are well-maintained and safe for our residents and staff.
You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including maintenance of heating and lighting, fabric of the building, regular checks on the boiler and water systems, and completing all relevant health and safety checks.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in a similar maintenance role, with strong practical skills and the ability to work independently. You will be comfortable in an elderly care setting and have good communication skills to relate to our residents in a caring and sensitive manner.
