Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Fresh Direct in Bicester, Oxfordshire. As a key member of our Supply Chain and Operations department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our depot and office areas, adhering to BRC, food safety, and Health and Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain outdoor grounds and landscaping, including watering and tending to plants, trimming shrubs and bushes, and weeding.
  • Assist with cleaning and litter picking, maintaining housekeeping of allocated areas, and performing basic maintenance tasks such as painting.
  • Collect and segregate waste, accept and distribute deliveries within the site premises, and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance assistant with high standards and a strong work ethic. Prior counterbalance license training is desirable but not essential. We offer a great basic salary, generous holiday allowance, and the opportunity to purchase additional leave.
