Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Fresh Direct. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, including the depot and office areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all facilities, including the depot and office areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and basic repairs.
  • Assist with waste collection and segregation, and ensure that all waste is disposed of in accordance with company policies.
  • Accept and distribute deliveries within the site premises.
  • Perform groundskeeping duties, including watering and tending to plants, trimming shrubs and bushes, and weeding.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role is desirable.
  • Counterbalance license training is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
