About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handy Person to join our team at Langford View Care Home. As a Handy Person, you will be responsible for maintaining the upkeep of our property estate, ensuring that our homes are well-maintained and safe for our residents and staff.
You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including maintenance of heating and lighting, fabric of the building, regular checks on the boiler and water systems, and completing all relevant health and safety checks.
We are looking for someone with strong practical skills and experience in a similar maintenance role. You will be comfortable working in an elderly care setting and have the ability to relate to our residents in a caring and sensitive manner.
About You
You will have a positive attitude and good communication skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative and prioritize your work schedules to meet the needs of the Home and its residents.
