About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Langford View. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall fabric of our care homes, including the surrounding gardens. You will work independently, prioritizing your tasks to meet the needs of the home and its residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain heating and lighting systems
- Perform regular checks on boilers and water systems
- Complete health and safety checks
- Work with residents and their families to maintain their home
About You
You will have experience in a similar maintenance role and strong practical skills. You will be comfortable working in an elderly care setting and able to relate to our residents in a caring and sensitive manner. You will be confident working on your own initiative and have good communication skills.
