Job Title: Distribution Sales Specialist

Fabulous role within Distribution Sales, with potential for growth within a global manufacturing business. You will be comfortable building business relationships, happy to undertake regular European travel and looking for a business that will support your career growth.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Lead sales activities for assigned accounts, including pricing, setting growth targets, growing opportunity pipeline and ensuring your distributors meet budget targets, increasing business growth and profitability.
  • Undertake joint visits with distributors to end customers to support business growth.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and seminars.
  • Lead quarterly review sessions with distributors, to agree action plans.
  • Ensure KPIs are set for all distributors and are tracked against performance. Identify any gaps with the European distribution network against KPIs and rectify.
  • Support with interviewing new distribution candidates and ensuring all current distributors are performing to our rating criteria.
  • Support Head of Global Distribution with analysis of global distribution performance monthly, comparing to both forecast and budget to highlight any gaps and business loss.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to lead our distribution sales efforts in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing distributors and driving business growth through account management.

Main Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include leading sales activities for assigned accounts, undertaking joint visits with distributors to end customers, attending trade shows and conferences, and preparing monthly performance reports.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least 3 years of experience in managing distributors or broader sales/business development experience within a manufacturing setting. You should also have great relationship-building skills, experience managing accounts to grow business profitability, and previous success in driving growth directly or through a distribution network.

This is a full-time position, and we offer a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum, plus benefits.
