About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Systems Analyst to join our team at The City Recruiter. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in connecting business stakeholders with IT operations, analysing processes, identifying technical solutions, and implementing systems that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document business needs and objectives.
  • Process Analysis: Evaluate existing business processes to identify issues and opportunities for improvement through technology.
  • Solution Design: Work closely with the IT team to design and develop solutions that meet business needs, providing risk and impact assessments.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, operations, and IT to ensure a clear understanding of project goals.
  • Project Support: Assist in managing IT projects, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Testing and Validation: Collaborate with IT and operations to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are defect-free, including conducting unit testing.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end users during and after system implementations, developing necessary training materials.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret data to deliver insights that support decision-making and process improvements.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT solutions.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of both information technology and business administration.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.
  • Experience with CRM and Case Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, including SQL and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to document complex information clearly.
