We invite applications from experienced female psychiatric consultants to lead our team in Carlisle. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for overseeing the psychiatric care of patients within the acute ward, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnoses for women on the acute ward
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Provide expert guidance to junior doctors, nursing staff, and other team members, ensuring cohesive care
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Attend regular team meetings and case discussions to promote open communication

Key Requirements:

  • Valid GMC registration and active licensure
  • Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists or equivalent
