We are seeking an exceptional Senior Female Acute Psychiatry Specialist to lead our team in Carlisle, working within a female acute ward setting. As a Senior Female Acute Psychiatry Specialist, you will oversee the psychiatric care of patients within the acute ward, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead psychiatric assessments and diagnosis for women on the acute ward, utilizing your expertise to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and circumstances.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance to junior doctors, nursing staff, and other team members, promoting seamless collaboration and high-quality care.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to guarantee integrated care and optimal patient results.
  • Offer psychiatric support for mental health and crisis management, including medication management, to ensure patients receive the highest level of care.

Salary: £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
