Delirium Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Delirium Support Specialist in the NHS. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
The successful candidate will work in a seven-day service, covering wards and providing training in delirium screening. They will support staff, families, and patients in recovery from delirium, providing guidance and reassurance to loved ones.
This role requires excellent listening skills, experience in caring, and basic knowledge of delirium and dementia. Training and supervision will be provided.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Education and Qualification: Senior Healthcare Support Worker or equivalent, GCSE in Maths and English, experience working with client group.
- Knowledge and Experience: Experience in care setting, knowledge of delirium and dementia.
- Skills and Competencies: Good verbal and written skills, ability to work independently, use IT equipment, develop skills of others.
