Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing quality assurance activities, including reviewing technical data and production reports, and ensuring compliance with ISO13485:2016. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

The estimated salary for this role is £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage quality assurance activities
  • Review and interpret technical data and production reports
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems and standards
  • Participate in the provision of specialized decontamination services
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience to NVQ3 through decontamination training and non-routine experience applied training to Foundation degree/diploma in medical device decontamination or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of decontamination specific procedures and policies
  • Understanding of Quality Management processes
