Quality Control and Data Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Traka (Assa Abloy). In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.
The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Summary
As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality control process, ensuring that all product data is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for other departments. You will work closely with our suppliers and other departments to gather and collate product information, measure and weigh products to verify data accuracy, and conduct inbound checks and other required quality checks.
You will also be responsible for managing the customer complaint log, ensuring all complaints are captured, reported, and actioned with non-conformances raised when necessary. Additionally, you will manage the NCR log, report on customer feedback and quality issues, and work with suppliers to coordinate product quality checks at source.
Key Tasks
- Oversee the quality control process.
- Ensure product data accuracy and accessibility.
- Gather and collate product information from suppliers and other relevant parties.
- Measure and weigh products to ensure data accuracy.
- Control data management of the product portfolio.
- Conduct inbound checks and other required quality checks.
- Own the customer complaint log.
- Manage the NCR log.
- Report on customer feedback and quality issues.
- Work with suppliers to coordinate quality checks.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent leadership skills, the ability to communicate complex technical information, and a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. A willingness to work towards Dip GAI and collaborative problem-solving skills are also essential. You should be able to operate independently and as part of a team, drive enthusiasm, and energy for achievement, and have systematic, organised, and accurate working habits.
