Instrumentation and Control Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Specialist to join our team as a C&I Project Lead. In this position, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of control systems for various projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control system theory, including PID control, electrical circuits design, and Safety Integrity Levels. They will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage requirements and acceptance criteria specific to a system or product
- Develop and implement control systems solutions that meet required standards and specifications
- Ensure compliance against contractual requirements and work in accordance with company, safety, environmental, contractual, and local business processes, standards, procedures, and documentation
- Lead and manage teams to deliver high-quality control systems solutions
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in instrumentation and control system design and implementation
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
What We Offer
This role offers a competitive salary of £55.25 per hour, paid on a Contract basis. You will work Full Time, with a Hybrid Working arrangement requiring 2 days per fortnight on site with the client based in Barrow-in-Furness. The job is initially a 12-month contract.
