Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist

About the Role
">We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation (EC&I) professional to join our team within the Nuclear Industry. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background and understanding of electrics, circuit diagrams, and safety protocols.
">Main Responsibilities:

- To work safely in accordance with all relevant safety, quality, security, environmental, and site instructions and requirements.">
- Repair, maintain, calibrate, and test Radiation Protection Instruments to meet customer demands.">
- Work to maintenance instructions and accurately record information.">
- Comply with local procedures, rules, and working practices to ensure adherence to regulatory and customer specifications.">
- Provide technical advice, updates on work progress, and other relevant information to customers as required.">
- Act as a mentor for team members, including apprentices and new entrants, to maintain standards and best practices.">
- Identify improvements and innovations in service provision to enhance efficiency and quality, and implement agreed-upon improvements in a timely manner.">
Requirements
">Essential:
">- ">
- Apprenticeship or equivalent training in a relevant discipline (e.g., Electronic, Electrical, Instrumentation, Technology fields).">
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent (at Grade C or above), including English, Science, and Maths at a minimum of Grade B.">
- Knowledge and understanding of conventional and nuclear safety.">
- Proven experience of servicing electronic instrument systems.">
- Minimum level of qualifications verified (*only those essential to the role need to be checked).">
- Ability to obtain BPSS clearance.">
